The pope is in America touring, and he is late for a speech he needs to
make. His limo driver is going to slow, so he tells him to get in the
back and the pope starts driving the limo himself.
He starts speeding through the town, and a policeman stops him. He looks
in the front seat, and immediately says, "Wait one moment." and goes to
call his chief on the radio.
He says to the chief, "Uh, chief, I have a problem here. I caught a VERY
important person speeding, and I am afraid to give them a ticket. " The
chief says, "I don't care WHO it is! Give him a ticket if he was
speeding!" The officer replies, "But chief, you don't UNDERSTAND! This
is someone VERY VERY big! I'm too scared to give him a ticket!" The
chief says, "Now WHO in the world could be THAT important that you can't
give them a ticket?!?!" The officer replies, "Heck, sir, I don't know,
but he HAS to be important because his chauffer is the POPE!"
